Chronology
Charles, a retired man, gets a new lease on life when he answers a private investigator’s call and becomes a mole in an undercover investigation of a nursing home. Michael Schur was inspired to create «A Man On the Inside» after watching the Chilean documentary «The Mole Agent.» He says, «The Mole Agent»; a documentary is powerful because it makes people feel something remarkably similar, regardless of age, ethnicity, or gender, and I would describe that feeling in a very reductive way: «I have to call my mom.» In our show, we tried to do a similar tone: Basically, does our show promote the feeling of wanting to call our moms?.
How no one appreciates Ted Danson
A legend, like Tom Selleck’s mustache. Anyway, I found this show to be the son of everything.
This show also touched me because it touches on dementia
Some pretty funny lines, two very charming female leads who never get hurt, and also a great message about the bonds that form in life. Especially in the later stages when things really matter for the right reasons.
I definitely recommend this series, and I’m looking forward to the second season as well
I recently lost my father who was battling this terrible disease, it just made me feel closer. However, as each episode progressed, I got more invested and found each character to be charming and lovable in their own unique way.
It feels good, not completely infuriating like some scenes in the classic movie «Golden Pond» and all, just a relaxing and well-written show
