CIA agent Jo struggles to balance her personal and professional lives as the tip of the agency’s war on terror. Real-life military instructors helped produce a more authentic performance in weapons handling, house cleaning, deployment, team-based activities, etc., as mentioned in Premios Soberano (2024). Why, why do they always insist on one teenage character who is always angry and acting irrationally? This has never served any TV show well. Zoe Saldana’s daughter is a complete stereotype, all the sad, angry teenage characters rolled into one character. One minute you’re watching a show about secret agents in the Middle East, the next you’re subjected to endless scenes of family turmoil caused by one selfish teenager who *nobody in the world* cares about. My advice: scroll through all the scenes where he appears. They add absolutely — zero — nada — zilch to the plot. Skipping them will do wonders for your blood pressure.
